In this corner, weighing in at one stellar single, we have Barbarossa. Combining sparse electronica with tuneful Americana, he’s something of a wild card. In this other corner, weighing in at two skinny Danes with one album each, there’s Quadron. Who knows how their hip-hop leaning production will complement the other acts? And in the last corner of this apparently triangular ring is Junip, the heavyweight of the crew. Fronted by golden-throated vocalist José González, Junip can make even the toughest of us swoon like lovesick fools.
